Editorial Standards
This site earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through its links. That is disclosed in the footer of every page. It does not change what is published: the sizing verdicts are calculated rather than written, and they say lounge-scale where the arithmetic says lounge-scale.
Where the figures come from
Product specifications are as published by the manufacturer, and are attributed that way rather than presented as independent measurement. Nothing here has been tested in a laboratory, and the site does not claim otherwise.
What is computed
The sizing comparisons are produced by code from two sets of published numbers: the footprint of a structure and the clear floor a furniture group needs. Nobody writes a verdict by hand next to a table that computes one, because a hand-written verdict drifts from its table on the first edit.
Framing is chosen; arithmetic is not. Where a structure is shorter than a furniture group needs, the table names the scale it does suit and gives the shortfall as a measurement. The numbers themselves are never adjusted to reach a friendlier verdict.
What is deliberately not here
Prices. They change daily; a printed price is wrong within a week.
Ratings and review counts. They belong to the platform that collected them.
Assembly and troubleshooting. The manufacturer's instructions are the authority for a specific unit, and a second set of instructions on a third-party site is a way for someone to get hurt.
Anchoring specifications, permits and clearances. These are set locally and by the manufacturer. This site says that they exist and that they matter, and does not supply figures it is not in a position to stand behind.
